Vehicular traffic-bearing coating systems are designed to protect reinforced concrete parking structures, stadiums or plazas where moisture intrusion cannot be tolerated. They provide a seamless, durable, skid-resistant “membrane” on the concrete, preventing the ingress of moisture and chloride that lead to premature deterioration of concrete and reinforcing steel. These coatings can be used on new construction or to refurbish existing reinforced concrete structures.
A properly installed system also creates a waterproof barrier for conditioned spaces located below the coated structural deck. This allows for the most space utilization within your structure. Vehicular or pedestrian systems come in different colors, textures and formulations to meet specific job requirements.
Vehicular or pedestrian membrane systems can be completed using elastomeric urethane systems or cementitous, breathable systems for slab on grade application.
